Hello and welcome to Midwest Racing Central our new digital initiative dedicated to coverage of short track racing.
The goal of “Midwest Racing Central” is to cover the weekly and regional series short track world primarily around Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan with a focus on asphalt racing. MRC will also provide coverage of dirt track specials around the region as well as national asphalt racing series.
Our objective is to create a digital presence to what “Midwest Racing News,” Checkered Flags Racing News” and “Hawkeye Racing News” provided during the weekly newspaper era of media coverage. The overall vision is to create an all-encompassing portal for fans to access the latest information of what’s happening in and around the region including planning their track visits and attendance.
We look forward to growing and expanding our coverage to multi-media offerings including audio and video components in addition to results, previews, feature stories and more. MRC will also look back on the rich history and heritage of racing around the region with features focused on the drivers, tracks and series of days gone by.
From star-studded events like the Slinger Nationals, National Short Track Championship, Oktoberfest and more to the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night weekly shows, MRC is your home for everything short track racing.
